Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how The Reshaped Leader, operated by Dr. Joshua M. Brown ("The Reshaped Leader," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://thereshapedleader.com (the "Site") or contact us through it. The Reshaped Leader provides non-clinical executive and leadership coaching, leadership consulting, speaking and training, and relationship and family coaching, and hosts the podcast "The Slow Drift," from Omaha, Nebraska, USA. We keep this policy plain and specific to what we actually do. If you have any questions, please contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide through our contact form

The Site has a single contact form. When you use it, we collect the information you choose to submit:

Please share only what is necessary to start a conversation. Because our services are non-clinical, we ask that you do not send sensitive health information, diagnoses, or crisis details through the form. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log and device information, which may include your IP address, browser type and settings, device and operating system information, referring pages, and the dates and times of your requests. This information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses a small number of functional and session cookies and first-party telemetry from our hosting platform, Wix. See the "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" section below for the specifics.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

We do not use your information for advertising or retargeting, and we do not sell your information. We do not run a newsletter or marketing-email program, and the Site has no user accounts, no login, no payments or checkout, and no on-site scheduler.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where a legal basis is required by applicable law, we rely on the following:

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with the service providers who help us operate the Site and respond to you, and only as needed for those purposes:

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our clients, the public, or us. If our business is ever transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we would take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and telemetry that are functional (needed to run the Site and keep sessions working) and first-party analytics from Wix. It does not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party analytics pixels.

Functional and session cookies (Wix)

First-party analytics and telemetry (Wix)

The Site uses Wix's own first-party analytics and telemetry (which reports to frog.wix.com) to help Wix and us understand basic performance and usage of the Site.

Google Fonts

As noted above, the Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which sends your IP address to Google to deliver the fonts. This is used only to render the Site's typography.

What we do NOT use

To be clear, the Site does not use Google Analytics, the Meta/Facebook Pixel, the TikTok pixel, any advertising or retargeting pixels, or any session-replay or heatmap tools.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because some of the cookies above are functional, blocking them may affect how the Site works.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, so the Site does not respond to them differently at this time. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no sale or targeted-advertising activity for a GPC signal to opt out of.

Data Retention

We keep contact-form submissions (stored in the Wix CMS and in the notification emails) for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain our business records, and comply with applicable law. As a general matter, we retain contact-form submissions for approximately 2 years after our last communication with you, and server logs for approximately 90 days, after which we delete or de-identify them, except where a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve a dispute. You may ask us to delete your contact-form information at any time using the contact details below, subject to any records we are required to keep.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts data in transit between your browser and the Site. We limit access to contact-form submissions to those who need it to respond to you and operate the business, and we rely on the security measures of our service providers (Wix and Resend). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. You may:

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.

California residents (CalOPPA and CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies to California residents.

Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), we disclose the categories of information we collect and how it is used and shared, as described throughout this policy. As explained under "Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control," the Site does not respond to browser Do-Not-Track signals, and we do not sell personal information.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), the categories of personal information we collect are:

We collect this information from you directly (through the contact form) and automatically (through server logs and functional cookies). We use it for the purposes described in "How We Use Your Information," and we share it only with the service providers listed in "How We Share Your Information." Your IP address is disclosed to Google only when the Site loads Google Fonts, solely to deliver the Site's typography; this is not a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA.

California residents have the right to:

Do-not-sell / do-not-share: Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not provide a do-not-sell/do-not-share opt-out mechanism, as there is no such activity to opt out of. The transmission of your IP address to Google when Google Fonts are loaded is solely to deliver the Site's fonts and is not a "sale" or "share" of personal information under applicable law.

Residents of other states

Residents of Nebraska (under the Nebraska Data Privacy Act), Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising. Because we do not sell personal information or engage in targeted advertising, those particular opt-outs do not apply. To exercise any available right, contact us using the details below.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.

In addition, as stated in our Terms of Use, the Site is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older, and we ask that anyone under 18 not use the Site or submit information through it.

Third-Party Links

The Site and our podcast, "The Slow Drift," may include links to third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

Where Your Information Is Processed

We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States and potentially other countries where they operate. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

Note on the Nature of Our Services

The Reshaped Leader provides non-clinical coaching, consulting, speaking, and training. Our services are not psychotherapy, counseling, psychological treatment, diagnosis, crisis care, or mental-health services, and we are not accepting therapy clients through this practice. Information you submit through the Site is handled as ordinary business contact information, not as protected health information. If you are experiencing a mental-health emergency, call or text 988 or dial 911.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
